Home insurance

Churchill offers a range of insurance to cover all your household needs, including buildings and home contents cover.

No matter which company you’re currently insured with, if you’ve been claim-free for the past three years, we promise to save you money on your renewal premium, providing cover is on an equivalent basis to ours. In fact, consumer intelligence (July-September 2007) found that one in ten people saved up to £137 by getting a quote over the phone with Churchill. But, of course, it’s also quick and easy to get a quote online.

Churchill buildings insurance gives you cover for up to £250,000 as standard for the rebuilding of your home if you experience damage or loss through an event such as fire, storm or flooding. This includes accidental breakage of glass and sanitary fittings and accidental damage to underground pipes, cables and drains. We can also cover alternative accommodation for you and your pets if your home becomes inhabitable.

Our contents insurance automatically gives you cover for up to £40,000. This includes cover for your furniture and carpets as well as your possessions and you have the option to increase this amount if necessary. We include within our standard policy accidental damage to home entertainment equipment and for a small additional premium you have the option to extend the accidental damage cover to all your home contents. This covers you for accidents such as spilling food or drink on sofas, or dropping bleach on the carpet.

The benefits of Churchill home insurance go on and on, so check out our policy documents online for the full details. Then check our assumptions list to find out if you qualify to apply for a quote online. Most people are, and if you buy online today we could give you a new customer discount, so don't delay!
