Winter sports cover
Heading off to the slopes for a spot of skiing or snowboarding can be great fun, but if something goes wrong you’ll be glad you took the time to take out Churchill Winter Sports Cover.
The policy will cover the loss or theft of or damage to either your own or any hired ski or snowboarding equipment, which we all know these days can be very expensive.
If you fall ill or get injured, Winter Sports Cover will pay for any ski school classes that you miss, as well as covering the cost of your ski pack if its not used for more than 48 hours.
Of course, nobody likes to think about getting injured on the slopes, but if you do hurt yourself, your Churchill insurance will cover any costs involved in recovering you from the piste and any emergency overseas medical expenses. This may involve air ambulance fees to bring you home if necessary – not the kind of costs you want to be paying for out of your pocket.
Even if you’re a safe, experienced skier, nobody can guarantee perfect weather on the slopes. So as well as everything else, Churchill’s Winter Sports Cover will also protect you against piste closures. If there are other pistes open nearby, we’ll pay you up to £25 a day to help you get to them. Otherwise, we’ll pay you a lump sum for any days skiing missed.
So, if you’re heading out for some winter sports action, make sure you’re covered against costly mishaps by adding Winter Sports Cover to your travel insurance now.
