Whatever happens on the road, keeping your cool is a must, to avoid any possible bust-ups with your fellow drivers.

A prime example of how some things could go out of control came after a suspected road rage incident in Bedfordshire, which sparked an appeal for witnesses by police.

A white drop-side lorry stopped in Church Street, Langford, just opposite the Mill Lane junction, leading to the road being blocked.

After words were exchanged between the driver of the lorry and other road users, the officer in charge of the investigation, Pc Steve Busby, is keen to trace all the drivers involved and to piece together exactly what was said.

The incident underpins the importance of taking out car insurance to provide financial cover for your vehicle while out on the road.

Pc Busby said: "This was an upsetting experience for the person who has made this complaint and we have traced the driver of the lorry. However, we still need to trace anyone who saw or heard what was said on the day so we can continue to fully investigate this incident."
