Your application has been agreed and you’re now covered
Your insurance policy will begin on the start date you chose during the application. You’ll receive a letter that tells you when the first premium will come out of your bank account.
Legal & General will also be sending you some important documents in the post, including your Policy Schedule and Policy Booklet. You should get them within the next 7-10 days.
You’ve been asked for more information about your application
Legal & General need more information from you and your medical history. So they will be in touch with you soon. They might need to contact your doctor for medical information, in which case they’ll send you a consent form. Please sign and return this as soon as possible. A dedicated team will keep you updated on the progress of your application.
In the meantime, you have some protection in the form of free Accidental Death Benefit cover while your application is processed. Terms and conditions apply, please read the Key Features Document for more information.
