Lockdown refunds

We know that many customers drove their cars less during the UK’s first lockdown.

If you think your annual mileage decreased by at least 1,000 miles because you drove less between 23 March 2020 and 31 July 2020, and your policy began before August 2020, use this form to let us know as you may be able to get some money back.

I drove less

If your policy started on or after 1 August 2020, then you won't be eligible for a premium refund, so please don't use the refund form.

What about more recent lockdowns?

Many of our car insurance customers have also driven less in recent times, so we think it’s only right to offer those customers some money back. That’s why we’ve launched Churchill Giveback

You need an active Churchill Car Insurance policy (a renewal or a new policy bought before July 2020) and to have driven less between 1 October 2020 and 31 March 2021.

Important information

Remember, even if you're not driving your car, it's a legal requirement for your vehicle to be insured, unless it has been registered with a SORN and is declared 'off the road' with the DVLA. You can find more information here: https://www.gov.uk/sorn-statutory-off-road-notification

If you do declare your car off the road and temporarily no longer require cover, we can suspend your policy. Please get in touch if you'd like to do this.
